Troop 79 at Snowshoe Hike at Durand Eastman Park - 2-16-14

We had a great day for a snowshoe hike. There was a lot of deep snow on the ground and it was cold enough that you could lay down in the snow and not get too wet. This was important since there seemed to be a lot of laying down in the snow during the hike. The boys were given the choice of walking on trails or bushwhacking through the woods. We didn't spend too much time on the trails. It was more fun going up and down the steep hills in the deep snow.
